Options at Our Senior-Living Communities
Here’s a breakdown of the rewarding options we offer!
Continuing Care Retirement
Our senior-living communities include various levels of service—from independent living to assisted living to skilled nursing care. Like most CCRCs, we offer residency agreements, which include access to other levels of service and future health care.
Our communities offer independent senior living in a variety of settings such as apartments, cottages, duplex and patio homes. Residents must be able to live safely in the independent environment. Typical services include housekeeping, transportation, activities and dining.
Assisted living residences offer private, homey living space, for example, a studio or one-bedroom apartment, and services to support activities of daily living. Some assisted living residences also offer health care services. Most residences include housekeeping, meals and activity programs.
When memories of bygone days eclipse the immediate past, memory support programs provide a natural and rewarding lifestyle. Staff members trained in the unique demands of memory support encourage residents to use their abilities fully.
Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing
Also called “nursing homes,” these centers play two important roles: they provide rehabilitation or “sub-acute care” for people who have been discharged from the hospital but are not medically or physically able to return home; and they provide extended long-term care to frail or chronically ill persons who require a higher level of skilled nursing and medical supervision than is available in other settings.
